Maine ATV Season is Open! Here’s What You Need to Know
The snowmobiles are finally put away in Maine and it's time to bring out the ATV's. And as you do it's important to reacquaint yourself with Maine ATV laws and trails. The good people at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife have reposted the laws you need to know.
Trail Notices from the State of Maine
Update: The Downeast Sunrise Trail and the Summerhaven trail system are the only trails open Mother's Day weekend. The Downeast Sunrise Trail is currently open and the Summerhaven Trail system will be open as of May 12, 2018. Please note that the section of trail near the Summerhaven shooting range will be closed for the 2018 season while construction at the shooting range is underway
