Thank you Facebook for making me cry again. I had been seeing this story making the rounds and finally sat down to read it in the Portland Press Herald on Sunday. As my eyes welled up with tears soaking the paper, I realized how lucky we are to have time. How ironic that I was complaining about losing an hour due to daylight savings, meanwhile Jared just lost everything. Time is precious. It slips away from you when you aren't watching and before you know it, years pass. But what if you knew you only had a small amount of time? What if you knew the person you loved with all your heart didn't have time on their side? Would you risk that pain for "true love?"
