Maine Med Buying Building That Houses Pizza Villa On Congress
The building that is occupied by Pizza Villa, a west side institution for 50 years is being purchased by Maine Medical Center as part of their $512 million expansion as reported by The Press Herald.
According to the article the hospital has no plans to close the Pizza Villa, in fact they are helping current owners Tony and Phil Regios, who want to retire, find new owners.
Hospital officials say they purchased the 3 story building but have no immediate plans, adding maybe the buildings upper floors will become medical offices. The purchase closing is slated for March of next year.
