Maine State Trooper Saves a Mans Life on I-295 Caught on Video [VIDEO]

Maine State Trooper Doug Cropper has a way of being at the right place at the right time. This time he saved a mans life on I-295 in Portland. He pulled the guy over for speeding. At first the driver was speaking and acting normally at first , but when Trooper Cropper came back from writing the ticket, he found the man unresponsive and overdosing on heroin!

Trooper Cropper dragged the man out of the car. Luckily at the same time an ER nurse driving by pulled over and helped with CPR. EMS crews arrived quickly and gave the man Narcan. It's a drug for overdosing patients.

He was then able to get up and walk to a gurney on his own.

How amazing is Trooper Cropper? Back in 2012 he raced ahead of a car going the wrong way on I-295 in Portland. He crashed his cruiser head on into the wrong-way driver probably preventing a much worse accident.

There are lots of stories of lousy cops out there. No doubt there are some bad ones - but I think it's amazing that one of the best is in our own back yard. I feel safer knowing it and just wanted to say thanks Trooper Cropper!
