Maine’s Own Anna Kendrick Stars in New Star Wars Ad

If you told me yesterday that Maine's own Anna Kendrick would be in an ad for Star Wars, I would tell you that the odds of that happening are approximately 3720 to 1. I should have never told you the odds.

The highly anticipated video game from EA, Star Wars: Battlefront is set to be released on November 17th and a new ad for the game stars Maine's very own Anna Kendrick.

The ad shows people from all around the world vanishing leaving nothing but their clothing behind, just like Obi-Wan Kenobi did in Star Wars: A New Hope when he was struck down by Darth Vader.

Anna Kendrick is one of those who vanishes after saying the iconic line from the movie, "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." She is then transported into the game fighting for the Rebels against the evil Empire.

So is Anna a Star Wars fan, or did they just offer her a big chunk of change? If she is, we have a lot more in common that I could possibly imagine. (See what I did there?)
