There's a book out called, Spurious Correlations, that takes odd things and shows a connection. Like margarine consumption is the same as Maine divorce rates. 

A 99.26% correlation. Weird, right? But not as weird as:

• Number of people who died falling into a pool correlates to the number of films Nicholas Cage appears in.
• Per capita cheese consumption correlates to the number of people who have died by getting tangled up in their bedsheets.
