I've got two words for this - COME ON!

I get it. You want kids to have a clean slate and to be brought up in a world where there are no prejudices...no preconceived notions. They'll gain plenty of those throughout their lives.

But THIS is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of...

Pentucket Workshop Preschool in Georgetown, Mass won't let their kids used the term ''best friend'.

According to ABC7, the school explained that

The term best friend can lead other children to feel excluded. It can ultimately lead to the formation of cliques and outsiders. The school encourages students to have a wider group of friends.

Some parents at the school think this is just going way too far.

Some parents have even taken their kids out of that school.

I get it. Words matter...but could we maybe work on the bigger ones like hate or fat or stupid? Are those words banned? Banning words is stupid and I hate it. Maybe we could just teach kids that words matter, and picking the right ones will help them be a better person. Just my opinion...
