A three-alarm fire heavily damaged several businesses at Scarborough Commons Monday night, according to WMTW.

The Portland television news station reported the fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. and is believed to have started in the back of the office and retail complex. The Maine Fire Marshal’s office is on scene investigating the cause of the fire. WMTW reported that three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion, but no one was injured.
