Movie Mom Pans ‘Pan’ [VIDEO]

The big release this week, is a prequel to the classic 'Peter Pan' story. This is called just 'Pan' and Movie Mom says, 'eh...not so good.'

She did say that 'Pan' was gorgeous to look at, but very disappointing. I guess if you have money to burn and you like neat looking movies, go for it.

The sweet little movie, 'Big Stone Gap' (which is the name of a town in Virginia) is actually pretty good. It stars Ashley Judd a self-proclaimed spinster in a tiny town in Virginia who has her life shaken up and forever changed after learning a long-buried family secret.

She really liked 'Freeheld' based on a true story that is very emotional. Julianne Moore (who can do no wrong) is New Jersey police lieutenant, Laurel Hester, and her registered domestic partner, Stacie Andree, (Ellen Page) battle to secure Hester's pension benefits when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

This story was also an award winning documentary. Movie Mom thought that it was really well done, and an important story.

Or just stay home, kick the husband out and rent 'Magic Mike XXL'.
