Movie Mom liked some of the choices this weekend, but truly - she is too excited about the new Avengers movie in two weeks to focus. However, she did focus enough to mention Disney's 'Monkey Kingdom'. It's a documentary voiced by Tina Fey. I love monkeys, I love Tina and I love that some of the profits of opening weekend will go to conservation efforts to save endangered species.

She also very much enjoyed 'True Story' with James Franco (who was 'amaaaazing') and Jonah Hill who may have been stretched a little too much with this role, but did pull it off. It is based on the true story of a disgraced NY Times reporter who tries to revive his career by doing a story an man who murdered his family and then took the identity of the disgraced NY Times writer!

She also enjoyed 'Ex Machina' - mostly because the two stars Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac are the stars of the upcoming Star Wars movie. She says this is mostly for fan boys. There is also a 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2' out. It was not screened for critics. Movie Mom actually thought the first one was pretty funny. Oh Movie Mom...
