Movie Mom Says ‘The Martian’ is the Best Movie of the Year! [VIDEO]

It's been a tough summer for good movies, but Movie Mom says that 'The Martian' is 'one of the best movies of the year'! Matt Damon is spectacular.

After a mission to Mars goes wrong, they leave an astronaut behind thinking he died. But alas - he's alive. Now it's a matter of getting to him before he runs out of food. It's gripping and engaging and does the book justice! Plus, Ridley Scott directed it. No wonder it's so good!

Then there is the movie, 'The Walk', based on the true story of Pierre Petit. Pierre strung wires between the twin towers back in the 70's and then walked across 140 stories in the air with NO SAFETY WIRES, OR A BIG MATTRESS OR ANYTHING! Movie Mom warns, if you have vertigo DON'T see this movie. It is making people sick with the amazing 3D shots from up above! She liked the movie, and the new technology, but this is based on the documentary 'Man on Wire' which is an amazing movie. She says, it's good - but too much talking and rent 'Man on Wire'.
