My Latest Obsession? The Mojito

The Grapes and Grains Summer Celebration coming up Saturday, the first day of summer June 21st, got me thinking. You know what I'm really into lately? Mojitos! 

I had an amazing one with cucumber and some fancy infused rum at Empire in Portland. It was refreshing and packed quite the punch! My favorite thing about a Mojito is the fresh mint! You have fresh breath with your adult beverage!

For me it breaks down like this:

Beer: Amstel Light or Stella

Wine: any Malbec or Shiraz (I tend to stick the reds even in the summer...I know - weird)

Booze: the Mojito! (I was really into the Cape Cod - but my wedding night changed that for me!)
