My weekend was full of live music, dancing, puppies, the beach, and I even found time to exercise. Here's my weekend in three photos. What did your weekend look like?

Side Note: If you listened to The Q Morning Show this morning you also heard that my mom, aunt, and her best friend were visiting on Friday night, too. There are no photos of this portion of the weekend because I'm pretty sure they'd disown me for posting them.

Two Old Favorite Bands with New Favorite People

I lived out a high school dream on Friday night and got to see The Ataris and Hawthorne Heights at the Asylum. Do you remember those bands? I never thought I'd have a chance to scream sing the words to Boys of Summer or Ohio is for Lovers so I was thrilled that these two bands came to Portland together. I went with my fellow concert lover and radio pal, Rob, and we had a stellar time.

Staying on Track by Working Out with a Pal

Even though I was tired and even though I just wanted to sleep in, my old college roommate was in town and we decided to get a little sweat session in on Sunday morning. I'm so glad I did! I never regret a workout but getting to the gym is the hard part. It helps to have a friend motivate you!

Beach Time with My Sweet Little Dogs

My sweet little girls Eloise and Lou Lou love the beach. I like to bring them at the end of the day when it's empty and they have room to run and play. Lou Lou was distracted by something behind me while Eloise started digging for treasure. I'm not sure if she found anything this time but she is famous for bringing me crab legs.
