It could be the first "real" snowstorm of the season, and it could dump a ton of snow across New England.

WGME-13's Charlie Lopresti is reporting on Twitter that we might be in for a bunch of the white stuff early next week.

As of right now, a storm that could produce anywhere from 6 inches to more than a foot of snow in some places appears to be ready to slam northern New England some time between Tuesday and Wednesday. As with most storms this many days out, timing and predictions for snowfall amounts can change pretty quick.

Keith Carson over at News Center Maine sees the same thing too...

As soon as Christmas is in the rearview ever year, people start grumbling about "big" snowstorms.

Most of us are just fine without those!
