New George Clooney Movie is Great…Until the Last 30 Minutes

Movie Mom says that the movie, 'Money Monster' is a great ride, up until the end...and then it falls apart.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts (both Oscar winners) like to make movies together and we like to watch them. 'Money Monster' is their latest about a host of a money show (think Jim Kramer) and a pissed investor who takes him hostage.

Movie Mom thought this movie, directed by Jodie Foster was a fun ride with hints of 'Dog Day Afternoon' (ask your parents..or grandparents) but fell apart at the end.

Then there's the new movie about Jesus, 'Last Days in the Desert' with Ewan McGregor. It is literally the story of the last days of Jesus in the desert. He goes in a carpenter and comes out a miracle worker. It's an unexpected movie and enjoyable

The last new movie this weekend is 'High-Rise' about a high rise apartment complex. The more money you have the higher in the high rise you get to live. Movie Mom says it's a crazy movie, but she loved it. It's getting mixed reviews. But all agree, at some point in the movie you will say, 'What?'

Our on video is Deadpool, one of the biggest hits of the year! The commercials alone to own it are hysterical!
