New Scarborough Restaurant Serves 21 Maine Draft Beers On Tap

The newest restaurant to open in Scarborough is next to The Egg & I in the old Dimitri's building at 185 US Route 1.

21 Taps Wood Fired Grill combines craft beers from at least 10 local breweries with wood-fired food such as pizza, sirloin steaks, burgers, ribs, pulled pork, salmon fillets and roasted half chickens. Of course the have mixed drinks as well. Don't forget to try their deep fried pickles or wood fired wings or better yet, the fried bacon nuggets.

The restaurant has an 85-seat dining room, plus there’s a separate pub where they offer karaoke on Friday nights, live music Wednesdays and Saturdays and trivia Monday nights. More seating is available on their 60 seat outdoor deck (seasonal, of course) which is surrounded by lawn and trees, to help hide Route 1.

They are open 11:30am to 9:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30am to 11pm Friday and Saturday.​
