There will be a partial solar eclipse happening later today. A solar eclipse is when the moon crosses between the Earth and the sun. Just two weeks ago there was a total eclipse of the Moon. Lots of activity in the solar system! Can you feel it in the air? Here's how you can see it. Or, try to, at least.

The event begins near the Kamchatka Peninsula in eastern Siberia, then moves eastward and deepens as the Moon moves along its orbit. A partial eclipse will be seen everywhere in North America except for New England and Canada's Maritime provinces. So, I guess we don't get treated to this one. Boo! It's rainy and cloudy so the chances are slim anyway!

We can still feel the effects no matter where you're located. If you believe in astrology in anyway; this solar eclipse also signifies the new moon in Scorpio. Which is a pretty big deal. Here's what Mystic Mama reports:

A Partial SOLAR ECLIPSE / NEW MOON in Scorpio is here on October 23rd 2014. It is at zero degrees Scorpio thus signaling a time of completion and initiation. Scorpio is keen about seeing the truth and if we can be truthful with ourselves about really seeing and releasing our the karmic loops, we have great opportunity to complete some aspect of our lives and begin a new phase. Relationships with others and with Self have great potential for expansion and for breakthrough.

SO, even though we may not see the eclipse, we are feeling it. Are you? A time of completion and initiation for you? How so? Answer in the comments section of the website below or on our Facebook and Twitter page using the hashtag #eclipse.

All this Eclipse talk made me think of this throwback track!
