As the sun comes up we're starting to see the damage that wind gust of near 70 MPH caused in Maine overnight. As of 8AM, Central Maine Power was reporting over 250,000 homes without power.

Damage from falling trees and blowing debris is extensive throughout the state as these photos posted to social media show.

 

This tractor trailer truck ended up on its side in what we can only presume were cross winds on the bridge over the Fore River of I-295.
