Place a Coin on a Witch’s Grave on the Haunted York Village Tour

Do you believe in ghosts? You might see one on the Haunted York Village Tour presented by New England Curiosities.

New England Curiosities in Portsmouth, NH has been run by Roxie Zwicker for over a decade and provides tours throughout New England of spooky locations laden with folklore and ghost stories.

Old York Village will be one of the tours offered on October 5 and led by Zwicker who tells stories from York's one-room schoolhouse and colonial tavern. You'll walk through the old York Burial ground, one of the oldest graveyards in Maine where you'll see skulls and carvings from over 200 years ago while listening to ghost stories.

As part of the tour last year, several people places coins on the grave of a supposed witch.
