Portland Police Are Looking For This Robbery Suspect – Have You Seen Him?

Portland Police have released this artist sketch of a robbery suspect from the description by the victim who was robbed at knifepoint on Gilman Street on June 5.

A 35-year-old woman said she was walking to her car in a parking lot on Gilmore Street on the afternoon of June 5th when she was approached by the man who asked for money and threatened her with a knife after she said she had none. Eventually she got her handgun our of her car and pointed it at the suspect telling him to leave her alone.  He left in an unknown direction and she was able to escape in her car.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20-30 years old, about 5’9” tall with a goatee and short buzz style haircut. He was wearing black baggy jeans, a navy blue t-shirt and a black hooded sweatshirt.
