Portland Rated As One Of the Top 20 Overlooked Cities in the U.S.

According to Cheapism.com, Maine should be pulling a lot more of the spotlight as a travel destination. Portland was in some good company in the Top 20 Most Overlooked Cities in the U.S..We have so much to offer beyond lobster; our lighthouses are magical, our natural beauty is amazing, our food scene is incredible, our Victorian architecture and parks are enchanting and our brew pubs are phenomenal! I can tell by the number of cruise ships making us a stop, that word is getting out. I have met some truly lovely people speaking languages from all over the world that have arrived in port from a cruise ship. Portland is in good company, also on the list are: Providence, RI, Salem, OR, Columbus, OH. San Antonio, TX, St. Louis, MO and Greenville, SC- just to name a few. Here is the full list.
