The National Weather Service has issued several severe weather watches for Maine Sunday evening.

Flash Flood watches and wind advisories are in place throughout Maine through mid-day tomorrow as  a cold front and low pressure system come together this evening. Wind gusts could be between 60-70 MPH in some areas and one to three inches of rain is possible creating the potential for flash flooding.

This storm has major potential for power outages so make sure your phones are charges and good to go if you should lose power. If you do lose power, you can report an outage to CMP at 1-800-696-1000 or reporting it on line at the link below. A second link will show you outages reported and an estimate on how long they expect it take to get the power restored.

You will want to secure anything outdoors that could be damaged by winds, including Halloween decorations you might have out.
