Yes...I traveled over 500 miles to get this pillow today. Ahhhhh, a good night's sleep is in my future. Follow my super fun adventure!

So let's review my madness. I closed up camp up in 'the county' on Sunday. Came home and realized I left my favorite pillow in the whole wide world up at camp. Ugh!!  How am I gonna sleep?

Wait! I'll just drive there. But why would I deny the listener that super fun experience? Management was fine with it (I think they just wanted me out of their office) and they even gave me the keys to the Q Van!

So, today...I headed out with visions of an epic show ahead!

This is 615 am. See all that fancy equipment? That's going to allow me to still be part of the show as I head for my beloved pillow.

The equipment wouldn't work, it was raining and I quickly realized...I'm gonna be in the Q Van for 7 hours! What the what did I do? So...nothing else to do, but get that damn pillow.

Along the way, I noticed a few things. The leaves are turning up north...

Not all, but there are pockets of really great color...

And I also noticed this...

That says Town Line TB R3. It's a town? Okay...

When I got to camp, obviously my task was to get that pillow! But Jen also requested the popover pan.

I thought this was pretty funny. We dragged this pan to camp. Didn't make popovers. It's been in Falmouth...not making popovers. Any sign of use is because I made Yorkshire Pudding in it. It's never made a popover. It's back in Falmouth...not making popovers.

Anyway, back to the trip. In Lee, there's a place that we have passed by a million times. Of course, when we are driving to or from camp, we are always going like a bat outta hell. Today, I stopped at Harris Family Take Out.

I got a cheeseburger basket with all the fixings. Maybe they were having an off day. It took 20 minutes and uh...well, I did not enjoy.

It was quite an adventure. I did feel bad that it didn't go as it did in my head. The two people who had to deal with that the most were Jeff and Kylie. I bought them a special gift I will give them tomorrow morning at 740. I know it will make everything okay...

SIDENOTE:  Get this. The Q Van can go 90mph! Who knew?
