Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer Has a Deleted Scene with Yukon Cornelius

You know how in "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" the friendly Yukon Cornelius is always hitting his pickax on the ground and then licking it? I always thought he was looking for silver or gold and somehow he could taste it on his pickax. In a deleted scene only available on select home releases of the movie, Yukon Cornelius reveals what he is actually looking for -- PEPPERMINT!

Peppermint!  What I've been searching for all my life!  I've struck it rich.  I've got me a peppermint mine!  Wahoooo!

This scene hasn't been shown on TV since 1964, but it's been included on home video releases.
