It took 10 innings for the Portland Sea Dogs to beat the New Britain Rock Cats 13-11 and Tim Roberson night was a big reason why.The Dogs designated hitter became the third player in Portland history to hit for the cycle. He completed the feat in the 10th inning where his 2-run triple drove in the winning runs.

Roberson doubled in the third inning to start the cycle and got the single in the ninth inning. His homerun came in the fifth inning with Portland trailing by 5-runs, Roberson cranked a grand slam, the first of the season for the Sea Dogs.

The other two players to hit for the cycle in Portland was Corey Keylor in 2007 and Cesar Crespo in 2000 when the team was an affiliate of the Florida Marlins.
