When you think of a bully, you have a pretty clear picture in your head - but a new public service announcement will change the way you think of bullies.

It's hard to have compassion for a bully, but this will give you a perspective of why some kids lash out.

A study showed that kids 12 to 16, who said they had bullied, had a very negative view of themselves. These kids were also more likely than non-bullies to come from siingle parent homes. They also had mental health issues like depression and anxiety.

Advocates are pushing for support for programs that help everyone involved in bullying, even the bullies.
