Most of Maine got over two feet of snow in the Blizzard of 2015. Schools were shut down for two days, businesses closed and even the Post Office didn't deliver mail on Tuesday because of the weather conditions. Sounds like a blizzard right? Was it though?
Meet Michelle. She does a lot of different things here at Q97.9. Today she was at the front desk when she told me that she did something she had never done before that shocked me so much I had to ask her all about it.
It doesn't matter if you are a Patriot fan or not, you cannot deny that they are a professional team with overall, well mannered nice players. Nothing made that more obvious than running back Marshawn Lynch from the Seattle Seahawks at the Super Bowl Media Day.
It was dead in the office thanks to the Blizzard 2015. I mean no one was in. No managers, no sales people, no assistants...just a few hardy folk. So, as I was catching up on some things, I came across some apples and someone suggested I juggle them in the blizzard. Sounded good to me!
Some people are calling the blizzard we're dealing with "Winter Storm Juno." Winter storms never used to get named like hurricanes do until recently and despite what some claim is a necessity, it's really just a way to market a brand.
