Walking into work today something caught my eye in the snow, and when I got a closer look I saw that it had been tagged with a message.

For the record, I hate the out of control tagging of private property in Portland. So many historic buildings, lamp posts, street signs and parking meters are defaced when someone grabs a can of spray paint and sprays their illegible tag all over it. It's a blight on the city that I wish could be dealt with, but that's a rant for another day.

This tagger I have no gripe with. This person tagged several snowpiles and banks along the streets of Portland. This isn't private property and will melt away. Soon I hope!

"Booma" is their name. Or Booma is name of this....bird? I think.

Booma decided to do a public service in this case, figuring if you're staring at the snow in despair after four storms in ten days that have dumped four feet of snow on us and pushed us past our average snowfall for the year,  you should be warned that there's more on the way.

I'm not sure where Booma got his degree in meteorology, but he's right. Thanks for the heads up Booma. This was cute. Let's just keep it in the snow and off the private property okay?
