Snug Harbor Farm welcomes visitors to "escape the ordinary". With whimsical gardens, charming animals, and a cozy farm setting, a day spent at Snug Harbor Farm is like a day spent in the pages of your favorite storybook.

Snug Harbor Farm is located in Kennebunk on Western Avenue. The farm has a history dating back to the mid-1800s when a Dutch sea captain built the house and barn. According to the Snug Harbor website, the original structure is inhabited by "a ghost or two." The sea captain sold the barn to a family for one dollar who raised their family and small stock of animals and crops there for many years. The farm remained in the family until it was sold to it's current owner, Anthony Elliot.

The farm and nursery is open for exploring Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The animals range from exotic peacocks, to adorable mini-horses, and the usual ducks, geese, and chickens.
