Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Release Party Thursday at Round 1

If you're one of the many gamers who are excited for the release of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate on Nintendo Switch on Friday, this is the event for you.

The fifth release in the Super Smash Bros. Bros. series is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Ultimate because it features 74 playable fighters including Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Pokemon characters and even Pac-Man battling it out across multiple arenas.

The game drops on Friday, December 7 and there's a release party hosted by GameStop on Thursday night at Round One at the Maine Mall. There will be a Smash Bros. Tournament on a previous version leading up to the release of Ultimate at midnight. Prizes will be awarded to winners.
