Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can happen to anyone. Veterans are especially susceptible to PTSD after experiencing and seeing combat. PTSD impacts 7-8% of people at some point in their lifetimes and 8 million adults have PTSD in any given year. For veterans, about 11-20% who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom experience PTSD in a given year.

The 1st Annual Dustin Paul Memorial Event aims to bring awareness and raise funds for those suffering from PTSD. Dustin Paul, who served in the US Army 101st Airborne, lost his battle with PTSD on August 27, 2016.

This event will feature a kickoff at Mr. Goodbar in Old Orchard Beach on Saturday, October 15, and a 22 lap plus 22 push up challenge at the Old Orchard Beach High School Track on Sunday, October 16. More details are available in the event flyer below.
