Postgame speeches by athletes are usually humdrum and boring. Not for this teenager, Apollos Hester.

Apollos Hester is a running back for the East View Patriots in Texas. After his team’s 42-21 victory over Vandegrift last weekend, the local news interviewed him.

Just watch this and try not to be pumped up. It’s not possible. Apollos may only be in high school, but he sounds like he’s got the wisdom of someone four times his age, while still being a super excited kid.

It’s the most memorable postgame speech we’ve seen since Richard Sherman nearly went off the deep end last winter when his Seahawks clinched a berth in the Super Bowl.
