Portland, Maine was settled in 1632 as a fishing and trading village. Some of the earliest structures built in the years following the city's official incorporation in 1786 still stand today as a reminder of the history of our Port City. These gorgeous brick and stone buildings range in age, but all show off some of the most stunning examples of architecture in Portland.
