This Senior Dog Has Had a Hard Life, But She’s Still Hopeful She’ll Find Her Forever Home in Maine
At 11-years old, most dogs are spending their days snuggling next to their humans, taking casual strolls through the neighborhood, and reminiscing over a lifetime of tennis ball chasing and bone chewing.
For some senior dogs, a lifetime of happiness is cut short and they end up in a shelter or rescue due to no fault of their own. These dogs deserve a loving home to live out their golden years.
Journey, an 11-year old greyhound and husky mix, has been through a lot in her life. The rescue organization Old Dogs New Digs says that she's able to keep a happy puppy smile on her face despite what she's lived through in her 11 years.
She loves people and other dogs and would make a great companion for someone with loves of love to give.
If you have the choice, please adopt and don't shop. Dogs like Journey need love, too.
