Truck Carrying Bottled Water Flips on Maine Turnpike in York
What's that saying? 'Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink?' This water isn't in the ocean though. It's bottled and all over the Maine Turnpike in York.
Around 3AM Monday, a tractor trailer truck crashed at mile 12 southbound in York on the Maine Turnpike after the driver says he felt a mechanical issue. The truck ended up flipping on it's side and luckily the driver and a passenger the sleeper cab are okay.
Traffic was backed up to Wells during the commute this morning and as of 11:30AM it was still slow going past the accident scene.
If you're headed south, you've been warned. The Maine Turnpike will post updates on the clean up throughout the day.
