A tribute event in Lewiston for Veterans held on Sunday fell short of the amount of money they hoped to raise and now can't cover the event costs.

For the past two years, Lewiston area Veterans Arthur Obie and Henri St. Pierre have organized a veterans tribute at the Lewiston Collisse to honor local veterans. It's an event that is free of charge to veterans, but money raised comes from those that buy tickets who have not served.

This year's event was held on November 9th, but unfortunately the turnout for paid admission was low and and not there wasn't enough money raised to cover the costs. Anything above the cost of the event was to go to local veteran organizations.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money to pay for the cost of putting on the event and your help would be appreciated.

Watch the video below with Arthur and Henri to learn more about what they do to honor those like them that have served.
