Was This Dog Discriminated Against?

This is Duke. The dog, not the girl. Duke needed to be put in a kennel this weekend, because the family was out of town. Duke was rejected by the kennel after he howled when crated. The owner thinks it could be a case of discrimination because of the kind of dog he is. 

You see Duke is a Pit Bull Catahoula mix.

This is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Ahhhhh, good dog.

This is a Pit Bull. Booooo - bad dog!

When you mix the two, you get Duke.

Duke was rejected officially for 'separation anxiety'. He howled when crated and didn't pass the introduction phase at the kennel. However, could the fact that he's a pit bull mix have something to do with the rejection?

Has your dog ever been rejected or discriminated against? Is the owner (who by the way is my boss) overreacting? I certainly don't think so. Not at all! He's an amazing person who never overreacts ever!
