Apple picking in Maine always sounds great in theory, but if often a struggle when you get there. Live through someone else's misery in this video.

Apple pies, apple crisp, apple sauce or any other delicious apple concoction you can dream. Those are the just rewards from an afternoon spent visiting your favorite apple orchard and picking apples. At least, that's what we all tell ourselves...

A new video from comedian Aharon Willows-Hebert, narrated in a deliciously deadpan Nick Offerman-style way, shares the all too common struggle that is apple picking in Maine. Finding an orchard, driving to that orchard, convincing your self to walk through uncut brush and grass to find the specific apples you want and then of course, not killing yourself attempting to get those apples that are the highest up.

Willows-Hebert also showcases the hidden joys of apple picking in Maine...donuts and hard cider. The video is shot at Wallingford's Fruit House in Auburn, where most people in the area would agree, are home to the greatest donuts on planet Earth.

Enjoy this short video shared by Portland Comedy Co-Op and ask yourself this very important question...have you been part of this struggle?
