The actor who played Jar Jar Binks reluctantly sat down for an interview with YouTuber Jamie Stangroom for a installment in his series 'These Are the Actors You're Looking For'.

Ahmed Best talks inspiration behind the voice of the Jar Jar Binks (it's actually kind of sweet) and explains that the role was his first time being torn apart by fans of a movie.

'Star Wars' was my first 'most hated' title in anything really . . . it was painful . . . [it] was a surprise.

Because of the backlash he received for the role, he said he'd never reprise the character in a future movie.

I think I've done my damage.  I'm good with where I stand in the 'Star Wars' universe.  I'd say no . . . I thought it was great, it was fun, but now it's time to move on.

Ahmed also confirmed that Michael Jackson wanted to pay Jar Jar Binks. It didn't work out, partially because Michael wanted to do it with prosthetics like in his 'Thriller' video, but George Lucas wanted to do it with CGI.
