Thousands of cars drive over the Casco Bay Bridge between Portland and South Portland every day, but have you ever taken the time to see the beautiful park beneath it?

The Casco Bay Bridge was opened in 1997 to replace the over 70 year-old Million Dollar Bridge. When it was constructed, walking paths and park areas were built around it for people to exercise and relax in.

On the South Portland side of the bridge is Thomas Knight Park that has walking trails, park benches and even chess tables to play a game along the water.

This video from StoryWorld Maine tours this hidden gem beneath the bridge.
