WATCH: The Q Morning Show Helps Secret Santa Day 1

Secret Santa of Portland asked The Q Morning Show to be his elves this year and help hand out a portion of $20,000 to unsuspecting people in the greater Portland area. On Saturday, Lori and I hopped in Lori's car and cruised to the Lewiston Auburn area with $1100 in hand. The holiday cheer began before we even got out of the car.

Handing out $100 to people when they least expected it was such an incredible feeling. We got choked up more than once. My favorite part was what the recipients said as we walked away. They covered their mouths, gasped out loud, and repeated, "Oh my goodness," and, "I can't believe this..." over and over.

We're proud to play a small role in Secret Santa of Portland's mission of making a brighter holiday.

We'll be back out on Tuesday and Thursday to make the day of more unsuspecting people in hopes they will pay it forward in some way.
