Watching this 3-year-old boy see Star Wars for the first time makes me remember what it was like when I saw the movie for the first time in 1977. For a young boy, the opening sequence is nothing short of epic.

My compliments to this father who did it right by showing his 3-year-old son the first Star Wars movie ever made, rather than the first Star Wars movie in order of the story. No one needs to begin their Star Wars journey with Jar-Jar.

The boy's reaction during the opening battle scene is absolutely priceless. The excitement, wonder, and sheer awe is what I felt when I was six-years-old at the Bridgton Drive-In.

The difference for me in 1977 was that Star Wars had not kicked in it's massive merchandising yet so it wasn't already exposed to every kid in the world at an early age like it is today. It was an entirely new experience for me that even after almost forty years I still remember vividly. It's the Wizard of Oz of my generation. An absolute classic that you always have fond memories of.
