It was a short journey from South Portland for the 40 foot blue spruce that will be this season's Christmas Tree in Monument Square.

In this time-lapse video from PressHerald.com you can see just how much work goes in to moving such a big tree. From loading it on the hauler to unloading it with the help of a huge crane from Keeley Crane Services and the hard work of the forestry section of Portland’s Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department, crews and equipment and Shaw Brothers Construction; and Portland police and Portland parking control.
