The Boston Red Sox are World Champions and Boston celebrated on Tuesday with a parade through the streets with the team on duck boats while hoisting the World Series trophy. But what about Maine? We wanted the Red Sox to come here too, but that's not happening. So, the Q Morning Show is going to have a parade anyway!

Thanks to Maine Duck Tours in Portland owned and operated by Khaled & Jen Habash and Kris McClure, we've got a duck boat!

Maine Duck Tours was nice enough to hook us up in the off season. During the regular season which starts up again in April, you can get your tickets for Maine Duck Tours at the Blue Lobster Gift Shop at 177 Commercial Street in Portland. Gift cards make a great Christmas gift too.

We're going to pile on the duck boat with Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling, and parade from the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal on Commercial Street to Becky's Dinner and back. I drew up this quick little map to show you the parade rude. Nothing fancy. Sorry for the typo.

News Center Maine's Lee Goldberg is wicked excited about this too, so he's going to be there covering our parade. We're going to throw candy to all the kids who aren't in school and hoist our own replica World Series trophy in celebration.
One thing though....there won't be any players here. Sorry.

But, if you want to come see the parade, we take off at noon so look for us! We'll save the best candy for you.
