YouTube is watching you. Every Time you watch a video on the world's largest library of just about anything you'd think of that you'd like to see, the service makes a little note and builds an entire list of recommended videos. Given enough time, it's a little scary how well YouTube knows exactly what you'd like to watch.

Let's look at 5 videos on my recommended list and see how well YouTube knows me, shall we.

I love me some classic video games. I was in line the day the NES Classic went on sale, so a video of a review of an obscure NES game? Nailed it!

Pinball! Duh. This is the live debut of the Aerosmith pinball machine from Stern Pinball and it's pretty awesome! The only thing is I watched this live last week on Twitch, because I'm that much of a geek. Still though, YouTube knew what I liked so...nailed it!

Little known fact. I still think the original Batman with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson is the best Batman movie ever. 'The Dark Knight Rises' is still pretty damn good though. So it makes sense YouTube would show me 8 little known facts that made Michael Keaton's Batman awesome would be on my list. Nailed it!

Another little known fact. I think Star Trek: The Next Generation is the best Star Trek TV series of all time. The movies all kind of sucked, but this was appointment television for me every week on WPXT from 1987 to 1994. It's always fun to relive an episode in a short little 2 minute clip. Nailed it!

Well....okay. I watched this. I'm guilty. You might not want to.

Some might find this video disturbing, so you've been warned.

I love trains. I don't like pigeons, so there. Um....nailed it?

So in conclusion, I'm a video game loving, pinball playing, Star Trek watching, Batman fan who geeks out over trains. You got it YouTube. Well played.

Take a look at your YouTube recommendations and see how well they know you. Did they get it right?
