What Lies Behind These Wooden Gates in Northeast Harbor? A Breathtaking Storybook Garden

Stepping through these gates is like walking into a perfect storybook garden. It's easy to imagine small woodland creatures frolicking amongst the flowers and butterflies gently floating amongst the trees. This somewhat hidden oasis is located in Northeast Harbor and is called the Asticou Azalea Garden.

The pond reflects the foliage like glass and the stepping stones lead you on a beautiful stroll of the gardens.

Imagine the soothing sounds of these water features in the gardens. I'm more relaxed just thinking about it.

The way these flowers landed in the stream was just begging for an Instagram photo.
