I'm new to Portland, but coming from my small hometown in North Idaho I already feel at home among the Bean boots and appreciation for food that sticks to your ribs. My go-to meal is meat and potatoes.

I was a Psych and French major in undergrad, but I repeatedly got criticism that I slipped into accents and weird voices in presentations, which threatened my professionalism. Little did they know I'd go on to abandon academia for a career in voiceover and radio!

I have a persistently positive outlook on life, with a healthy dose of sarcasm to even it out. My favorite thing is saying yes to adventurous things (stay tuned for bizarro blog content!) with people who have a sense of humor.

I'm not sure how to best go about meeting new people in Portland, but I'm willing to bet it involves appetizers, beer, and my Bernese Mountain Dog, Ilya.

I want to hear where to go, what to eat, and who to know. Enlighten me!
