It baffles me why doors for certain businesses aren't used the way my brain thinks they should be.

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture I took at Walmart in Oxford?

I was taught at a very early age that traffic flow on the right. I remember teachers telling us in elementary school to walk on the right side of the hallways. Cars in America always travel on the left.

However this Walmart and many other locations like some Shaw's supermarkets have this set up. Two doors side by side for enter and exit, but you enter on the left!?! What?

I can't count how many times I go to the wrong door. If I'm lucky it opens anyway. If not, I smack my face right into the glass for doing what I've been taught to do years ago. Walk on the right!

The worst part is I can't find any explanation as to why certain stores do this? Is it some scheme to get you to notice some sale they have? Do they just want to be different? Do they just want a laugh when they see all the people smacking their face against what should be the in door?

Help me solve this mystery. Why are doors like this? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook and Twitter @Q979. Please.
