Had a long stressful week? Need some cuddle therapy? Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook has got you covered this Sunday from 4 to 6pm.

Thanks to the 4H Rabbiteers you'll be able to cuddle with cute little fuzzy bunnies for a couple hours Sunday afternoon. They'll also be on hand to answer any bunny questions you may have and some of the bunnies will be available for adoption if you should fall in love with one, or 2.

Believe it or not, petting a bunny reduces stress. According to a study done by Ohio House Rabbit Rescue, there are scientific studies showing that just watching an animal reduces cortisol, the stress hormone, and increases serotonin, the happy molecule. Snuggling up with a bunny can even lower blood pressure. They don't need a lot of space either, perfect for apartments because they're quiet so they won't bother the neighbors, you don't have to take them out for exercise, just let them roam around the living room for a bit at night.

If you have animal allergies try a bunny! Some people who are allergic to dogs and cats are not allergic to bunnies.

Bunnies can live up to 10-12 years, so you’ll have lots of time to spend with your new furry friend.
