56 year old James Robertson is a Detroit man who lives a pretty simple life. But not an easy one. He works a factory job and has not missed a day in over a decade. Which is even more amazing when you learn that James has no car and no public transportation. So, he walks, to work and home, every day, and you won't believe how far.

James walks a total of 21 MILES, EVERY DAY to get to his job and home. The four hour walk to work and back leaves James about 2 hours a day for sleep.

This quickly became viral when"The Detroit News Press" ran a story about James last weekend. After the article came out, a 19-year-old college student who'd never met James set up a page on GoFundMe.com, to raise $5,000 to buy him a car. Well forget 5 thousand, In less than a week, the campaign has raised $279.000!!! Unbelievable. Not only that but a local car dealership has offered to GIVE Mr. Robertson a car! Wow.

Here is a thank you message that James just recently recorded.
